NED Authoritative Source Data Summary

The following table defines the authoritative source for each certain directory fields.  When NED data is merged with data from other sources, the authoritative source provides the value for a given field, as described below.  The authoritative source for a given field depends upon an individual’s classification, and whether or not the individual is “visiting”, i.e. a non-US citizen participating in one of the J E Fogarty programs.
