NAME

Addr_Stan - Perl extension for Address Standardization package

 

 

SYNOPSIS 

    use NED::AddrStan;
    NED::AddrStan::Addr_Stan EXPR

 

 

DESCRIPTION

The function Addr_Stan will parse a string representation of a street address (without city, state and zipcode) into a string containing the following fields:

 
bulletHome Number
bulletStreet Name Prefix Direction
bulletMain Street Name
bulletSecondary Street Name
bulletWithin-structure Description
bulletWithin-structure Identifier
bulletRural Road Description
bulletRural Road Identifier
bulletBox Description
bulletBox Identifier
bulletStreet Name Suffix: Directional
Spaces are replaced by ',' and fields are separated by '|'.

 

 

ENVIRONMENT

WINKSTAN_HOME
Name of the directory containing the data files used by the Address Standardization Package.
